CTI Data Connector - Preview Release 3.0 (copy 2)
The upcoming new release has a focus on the 'most wanted features' from our customers. Looking at the feature list, you may think - oh yes, I really missed that one.
Find below a short summary of the new features:
The phone book works now with enhanced search logic:
Search for company name, last name or first name - just type in the search word and CTI Data Connector finds it
Search with exact phrase or with option: Begins with
If a search results in only one company name, all contact persons are automatically listed
If an address or contact person is selected, the details are displayed in business card style including an icon for male and female if the address record includes this information
The type of the phone number (e.g. business, mobile, private) was added
If a person has a middle name then the middle name is also displayed
Improved editing of short dial list
Incoming caller identification and desktop notification offer additional options
Incoming call - if a caller is not identified, you can add a new record (by default Outlook, other systems if feature was implemented)
If multiple contacts are found (e.g. only main office number is stored), the desktop notification allows to select one contact to display the detail record
The fields displayed in the desktop notification can be configured. Also the color of same fields can be selected
And even more new features
Call History List can be configured - every option can be combined - Incoming / Outgoing / missed / answered
Numbers in the call history list are displayed in the same format like the PBX sends the phone number

The release will also offer a full support of Windows 7 and 64bit operating systems.
