Number of users - each user needs a license. The Windows user name or the name of a user within an application can be used. The license is assigned to the user when the application is installed  - Icon

Number of machines/computers - each PC needs a license. The host name of the machine is used for verification. This license is also called license per seat. The license is assigned to the machine when the application is installed  - Icon

Number of concurrent users (floating license) - the license is assigned only as long as the application is running. When the application is terminated, the license is available again - Icon  Note: Licence Protector offers a sophisticated verification of concurrent licenses. Machines that hang or crashed applications are detected and the license is released. There is no active service on the server necessary.
