To activate a product means to turn on Copy Protection and run the software with the specified license options.
There are 4 options to activate a product
- Online Activation via Web Activation Server
- Activation by E-Mail - automated reply using the E-Mail Activator Service
- Activation by Fax
- Activation by Phone

Start Video TutorialOnline Activation
This method allows a complete automation of the process. The Activation Server is required. You can run your own server or Mirage offers a hosting of the server. The Activation Server also ensures that the Serial Number can be used only once.
The hardware IDs and the Serial Number is sent to the Activation server, verified, stored in a data base and in case the Serial Number was not used before, copy protection is activated and time limitation is deleted to allow an unlimited program start.

Activation by E-Mail, Fax or Phone
With either of this method, the customer has to send you the installation code (8 digit hardware ID), Serial Number, name, E-Mail address and you have to send back the Unlock Key (Copy Protection Key). The E-Mail activation is automated by using the E-Mail Activator Service. |
