Does CTI Data Connector run on Unix / Linux? CTI Data Connector uses TAPI which is a windows protocol but it can be used in combination with Unix / Linux as follows:
<typolist> Windows Client PC - the Windows PC runs the Unix session TAPI is installed on the PC and CTI Data Connector is running Outgoing call: The Unix application would have to write the phone number in an XML file, CTI Data Connector polls for this file and dials the number from within the windows session Incoming call: CTI Data Connector would write the caller data into an XML file and the Unix session would have to poll for this file </typolist>
