CTI Data Connector offers sophisticated caller identification - regardless how unstructured the phone numbers are stored. The caller identification works with SQL databases, Microsoft Access and MS-Outlook / Exchange.

How does the Caller Identification work?

When a call comes in, CDC performs the following operations:

There are only 2 steps necessary to integrate incoming calls.

Step 1 - Define SQL Statements

Just define 6 SQL statements - CDC needs information in which tables the address and contact data is stored and which fields contain phone numbers. Only by defining these SQL statements, the complete caller identification is working.

Step 2 - Pop Up Caller Data

CDC writes the caller data (complete address and primary key index) into a XML file and starts a predefined application. This application has just to read the XML file and display the caller data The caller identification even works, when the main application is not running, because CDC is always active in the system tray and is waiting for calls.
