Licence Generator

• List of the last used licence and XML files
• Every project can have a default name for the licence file. When saving a licence file, the default name will be suggested
   

LicProtector.DLL

• A new licence type - ITEM Counter - was added. You can use it to monitor modules, which are limited in a specific number like:
  
  - the number of reports
  - the number of projects
  - the number of clients and so on...
  
  Basically, this licence type works like the user module. Every name of a used report, project etc. is stored in the licence file. LICENCE PROTECTOR monitors the maximum number of the module similar to the maximum number of users. The end user can active/deactivate an item within the Licence Viewer
• Additional security was added - if a hacker sidesteps your DLL call, you can detect this and let the application crash 
  

Concurrent User Module

LICENCE PROTECTOR adds to the existing user licensing (per user, per machine) a concurrent user module type. The concurrent user module checks whether the number of simultaneous logged in users or machines is within the defined limits. Users who reset their PC without logging out of the application are detected with an embedded autodetect mechanism. And the best off all - there is no server module necessary for monitoring the concurrent user. Everything is done from the LICENCE PROTECTOR DLL.

New Copy Protection Methods

• In addition to using the volume ID for copy protection, LICENCE PROTECTOR offers to use the MAC address of the network adapter. If a PC has multipe network adapters, all MAC addresses are combined to a single ID
• The copy protection can now be enabled with an Activation Key. The user forwards the licensing information (volume ID, MAC ID) and gets an Activation Key
   
  

Automatic Licence Generator

This module is now available with an own SDK (Software Development Kit). In addition to automate the process of creating a licence, you can use it with web shops. There is a predefined integration for  www.element5.com and  www.shareit.com.  If you have an installed customer base, where you want to send a new licence or you need a web registration, you can use the Automatic Licence Generator as follows: 

• Define with a XML file the project and the number of modules
• Call the Automatic Licence Generator - it reads the XML file and automatically produces a licence file or an Activation Key

The LICENCE PROTECTOR Automatic Licence Generator is a stand-alone exe file needing no other files (e.g. runtime files).
