Status: Service Release Releasedate: 07/30/2004 Update eligibility: Free for users of version 2.2
LicProtector.DLL
- When a time limited module is used and the original licence file is restored from a backup, then Licence Protector does not recognize this and starts the trial period again. Version 2.2.1 will recognize the backup and does not prolong the trial period
- The behaviour of the sysdatechanged method was modified. Version 2.2 allows turning the date for 1 day backwards. This is necessary to allow a user to adjust his system time (e.g. because it was 2 hours wrong) or allow the system to set the date between summer and wintertime without problems. Version 2.2.1 now uses, for detecting a modified date, the latest used date and not the last used date of the application. This limits the manipulation to a maximum of 1 additional day during the whole trial period. Modifying the date with 2 or more days activates the system lock
