Multimedia Protector supports copy protection and complete licensing for stand-alone EXE files. It holds the EXE file and additional files in an encrypted database. During runtime, a unique technology - VIRTUAL ZONE - is used to protect the files. The EXE protection includes 

• Content protection - the EXE file cannot be modified
• Copy protection - the EXE file can only be used on a single computer
• Time limitation to offer trial versions of an EXE file
• Licensing - single user or network version per user, per computer or concurrent user
• Decompile protection - all files are inside an encrypted database and cannot be decompiled

You can choose one of the following options how to deliver the EXE file:

• on CD / DVD
• by Download Link
• on an USB-stick

Multimedia Protector comes with a full integration in standard e-commerce systems. The EXE protection requires the the Premium Edition, which also offers an automated process from selling to product activation.

The Multimedia Player technology is much better than a wrapper:

• No chance to decompile the database or analyse the EXE file
• Protects multiple files (e.g. DLLs and all files which are read only) and not only one EXE file

This offers a perfect decompile protection and is more effective than obfuscation of the code.
